श्लोक क्र. १०१ ते ११० (गायिका--परिज्ञा)
॥ विनियोगः ॥
अस्य श्रीगुरुस्तोत्रमन्त्रस्य भगवान् सदाशिव ऋषिः, अनुष्टुप् छन्दः, श्रीगुरुः परमात्मा देवता, श्रीगुरुप्रसादसिद्धयर्थे जपे विनियोगः।
या श्रीगुरुस्तोत्र मंत्राचे ऋषी भगवान सदाशिव आहेत, छंद अनुष्टुप आहे आणि श्रीगुरु परमात्मा ही देवता आहे. श्रीगुरूंचा आशीर्वाद आणि कृपाप्रसाद मिळवण्यासाठी या जपाचा विनियोग केला जातो.
Of this Sri Guru Stotra mantra, Lord Sadashiva is the Seer, Anushtubh is the Meter, and the Supreme Guru is the Deity. It is recited to attain the grace and blessings of the Guru.
।। स्तोत्रम्।।
व्याप्तं येन चराचरम्।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥१॥
ज्यांनी संपूर्ण विश्वांत (चराचरात) व्यापून राहिलेल्या त्या अखंड परमात्म स्वरूपाची ओळख करून दिली, त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru who revealed the state of the Supreme Truth, which pervades the entire universe of animate and inanimate objects.
ज्ञानाञ्जनशलाकया।
चक्षुरुन्मीलितं येन
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥२॥
अज्ञानाच्या अंधकारात अंध झालेल्या माझे डोळे ज्यांनी ज्ञानाच्या अंजन-काठीने उघडले, त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru who opened the eyes of one blinded by the darkness of ignorance, with the collyrium-stick of knowledge.
गुरूर्देवो महेश्वरः।
गुरुः साक्षात् परब्रह्म
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥३॥
गुरु हेच ब्रह्मा, विष्णू आणि महेश (शिव) आहेत. गुरु हेच साक्षात परब्रह्म आहेत. अशा त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
The Guru is Brahma, the Guru is Vishnu, and the Guru is Lord Maheshwara. The Guru is truly the Supreme Brahman. Salutations to that Sri Guru.
यत्किञ्चित्सचराचरम्।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥४॥
हे सर्व स्थावर आणि जंगम (स्थिर आणि चालणारे) जग ज्यांनी व्यापले आहे, त्या परमात्म पदाचे दर्शन ज्यांनी घडवले, त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru who revealed the essence of that Truth which pervades everything—moving and unmoving, animate and inanimate.
त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम्।
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥५॥
ज्या चैतन्यमय तत्त्वाने हे तिन्ही लोक आणि चराचर जग व्यापलेले आहे, त्या पदाची ओळख करून देणाऱ्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru who showed the path to that consciousness which pervades all the three worlds and all that is living and non-living.
विराजितपदाम्बुजः।
वेदान्ताम्बुजसूर्याय
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥६॥
ज्यांचे चरणकमळ सर्व वेदांच्या उपनिषद-रत्नांनी सुशोभित आहेत आणि जे वेदान्तरूपी कमळाला फुलवणारे सूर्य आहेत, त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru whose lotus feet are adorned by the crest-jewels of the Vedas (Upanishads), and who is the Sun that makes the lotus of Vedanta bloom.
व्योमातीतो निरञ्जनः।
बिन्दुनादकलातीतः
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥७॥
जे चैतन्यस्वरूप, शाश्वत, शांत, आकाशापलीकडे असलेले, निर्मळ आणि बिंदू-नाद-कलेच्या पलीकडे आहेत, अशा त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru who is pure consciousness, eternal, peaceful, beyond the ether, stainless, and transcends the subtle forms of Bindu, Nada, and Kala.
तत्त्वमालाविभूषितः।
भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदाता च
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥८॥
जे ज्ञानशक्तीवर आरूढ आहेत, जे तत्त्वांच्या मालेने सुशोभित आहेत आणि जे भोग अन् मोक्ष देणारे आहेत, अशा त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru who is established in the power of knowledge, adorned with the garland of truths, and who bestows both worldly enjoyment and liberation.
कर्मबन्धविदाहिने।
आत्मज्ञानप्रदानेन
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥९॥
अनेक जन्मांच्या कर्मांच्या बंधनांना आत्मज्ञानाद्वारे जाळून टाकणाऱ्या त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru who burns away the bonds of karma accumulated over many lifetimes by bestowing the gift of Self-knowledge.
ज्ञापनं सारसम्पदः।
यस्य पादोदकं सम्यक्
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥१०॥
ज्यांचे पादोदक संसाररूपी सागराला आटवणारे आणि खऱ्या आत्मसंपत्तीची ओळख करून देणारे आहे, अशा त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
Salutations to that Sri Guru whose foot-nectar dries up the ocean of worldly existence and reveals the true wealth of the Self.
न गुरोरधिकं तपः।
तत्त्वज्ञानात्परं नास्ति
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥११॥
गुरूंपेक्षा श्रेष्ठ दुसरे कोणतेही तत्त्व नाही, गुरूंपेक्षा मोठी कोणतीही तपश्चर्या नाही आणि गुरूंच्या ज्ञानापेक्षा श्रेष्ठ काहीही नाही. अशा त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
There is no truth higher than the Guru, no penance greater than the Guru, and no knowledge superior to the Guru’s wisdom. Salutations to that Sri Guru.
मद्गुरुः श्रीजगद्गुरुः।
मदात्मा सर्वभूतात्मा
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥१२॥
माझा नाथ हाच जगन्नाथ आहे, माझे गुरु हेच जगद्गुरु आहेत आणि माझा आत्मा हाच सर्व प्राण्यांचा आत्मा आहे. अशा त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
My Lord is the Lord of the universe, my Guru is the Guru of the universe, and my Soul is the Soul of all beings. Salutations to that Sri Guru.
गुरुः परमदैवतम्।
गुरोः परतरं नास्ति
तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥१३॥
गुरु हेच आदि (सुरुवात) आहेत आणि तेच अनादि आहेत. गुरु हेच परम दैवत आहेत. गुरूंपेक्षा श्रेष्ठ दुसरे काहीही नाही. अशा त्या श्रीगुरूंना माझा नमस्कार असो.
The Guru is the beginning and is without beginning; the Guru is the Supreme Deity. There is nothing higher than the Guru. Salutations to that Sri Guru.
द्वन्द्वातीतं गगनसदृशं तत्त्वमस्यादिलक्ष्यम्॥
एकं नित्यं विमलमचलं सर्वधीसाक्षिभूतम्।
भावातीतं त्रिगुणरहितं सद्गुरुं तं नमामि॥१४॥
जे ब्रह्माच्या आनंदाने परिपूर्ण आहेत, परम सुख देणारे, केवळ ज्ञानस्वरूप, द्वंद्वातीत, आकाशाप्रमाणे सूक्ष्म आणि 'तत्त्वमसि' या महावाक्याचे ध्येय आहेत. जे एक, नित्य, निर्मळ, अचल, सर्व बुद्धीचे साक्षी आणि त्रिगुणातीत आहेत, अशा सद्गुरूंना मी नमस्कार करतो.
I bow to the True Guru who is the bliss of Brahman, giver of supreme joy, pure knowledge, beyond dualities, vast as the sky, the goal of 'Tatvamasi', eternal, pure, witness of all intellects, and free from the three gunas.
॥ फलश्रुतिः ॥
मन्त्रराजमिदं स्मृतम्।
यः पठेत्सततं भक्त्या
स गच्छेत्परमं पदम्॥१५।।
गुरुगीतेचे एक-एक अक्षर हे मंत्रराजासमान मानले गेले आहे. जो मनुष्य याचे सतत भक्तीने पठण करतो, तो परम पदाला प्राप्त होतो.
Every letter of the Guru-Gita is like a king of mantras. One who recites it constantly with devotion attains the supreme state.
पापं च विनिपात्यते।
तस्माद्गुरुप्रसादेन
लभते वाञ्छितं फलम्।।१६।।
अनेक जन्मांपासून साठलेली पापे नष्ट होतात आणि गुरूंच्या कृपेने मनुष्याला वांछित फळ प्राप्त होते.
Sins of many lifetimes are destroyed. By the grace of the Guru, one obtains the desired results.
इति श्रीस्कन्दपुराणे उत्तरखण्डे ईश्वरपार्वतीसंवादे गुरुगीतायां गुरुस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम्।
अशा प्रकारे श्रीस्कंदपुराणाच्या उत्तरखंडातील ईश्वर आणि पार्वती यांच्या संवादातील गुरुगीतेतील 'गुरुस्तोत्र' पूर्ण झाले.
Thus ends the Guru-Stotra from the Guru-Gita, occurring in the dialogue between Ishwara and Parvati in the Uttara-Khanda of Shri Skanda Purana.
